Checkoff Programs
Education
The area of education is really an investment in people. It consists of two components – sharing the story of soy with the general public and cultivating leaders for the soybean industry. Both are essential to furthering the vision of the soybean industry.
By educating consumers about the benefits of soy products and the work of the soybean checkoff, the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council is helping the public make educated decisions and keeping agriculture a relevant part of their daily lives.
The MSR&PC also invests in developing leaders in agriculture. Minnesota’s soybean checkoff program not only provides resources to FFA, 4H and the Ag in the Classroom program to develop tomorrow’s ag leaders, it also supports today’s producers through marketing programs and leadership training.
