MSR&PC is made up of an elected board of 14 soybean producers from across the state. On behalf of Minnesota's approximately 30,000 soybean farmers, they direct the investment of soybean checkoff dollars in international and domestic marketing programs, research projects, and education & technology transfer programs designed to increase the profitability of soybean production.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture holds commodity council elections in various crop reporting districts across the state on an annual basis.

Fourteen soybean farmers make up the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC) Board of Directors. Each director is elected to a three-year term.

These farmer-leaders direct the investment of the state's portion of the national soybean checkoff in research and promotion programs designed to increase profit opportunities for soybean farmers.
